Calling all community projects!

Now is your time to shine! Transurban is offering grants of up to $10,000 to support projects that bring social and environmental benefits to their local community.

As one of the world’s largest toll-road operators, Transurban helps people get to where they need to go quickly and safely. Their community grants program aims to assist projects happening near Transurban roads in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. 

Applicants should demonstrate in their submission how their project seeks to:

• Benefit communities (close to Transurban roads)

• Impact social needs regarding safe and accessible transport, education and training

• Achieve lasting benefits

• Service a large number of people or drive a significant environmental outcome

• Improve the lives of diverse, disadvantaged or underprivileged groups

• Help and benefits communities that may not be able to otherwise without grant support

This great opportunity is best suited to a wide range of organisations and initiatives that encourage inclusion, diversity of thought and innovation. To be eligible for a community grant, organisations must have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and be listed with the Australian Tax Office (ATO).
