The Casey Cardinia Foundation's Ripe for Change Grants are aiming to make the Victorian food system more sustainable.

The small grants scheme is being trialled in the Mornington Peninsula, Casey and Cardinia municipalities to address complex food systems issues by taking a localised approach. Small grants are available for initiatives which are:

  • Based solely or mainly in the Mornington Peninsula, Casey and Cardinia municipalities
  • Focused on one or more of the Ripe for Change outcome areas: healthy natural systems, viable enterprises, health equity access, or galvanised and engaged movements.

If you're working to make your local food system more sustainable, have an idea which requires funding to get started or you need funds to take your current plans further, then this could be the grant for you.

Grants up to $10,000 are available, with applications closing 21 April.
