A quick wrap of grant and funding news from across Australia

📖 If you’re applying for the Perpetual Impact Grant this year, it's worth taking a read of Barbara Brangan's How to Win the Perpetual Impact Grant: An Expert's Guide. It’s full of tips to help strengthen your chance of success with this epic grants program.

👀 The Federal Government has released its White Paper on Jobs and Opportunities. It outlines the Government’s vision for a dynamic and inclusive labour market, and mentions social enterprise. In a joint statement, the Treasurer and Minister for Social Services said "Social enterprises exist specifically to create a social impact and are critical to improving employment outcomes for marginalised Australians battling big barriers to employment as a result of entrenched community disadvantage...This growing sector offers employment opportunities to people experiencing disadvantage through inclusive employment opportunities, job training and on-the-job support to people facing complex barriers to work." Statements like this are classically followed by big funding announcements, so watch this space!

💡 Another AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award & Acceleration Grant Information Session is coming up. These sessions are your chance to ask questions about the two different programs (one is a grant, one is an award). Make sure you register if you're interested in this opportunity. Asking questions before you start applying can save a lot of time and help you write a strong, and eligible application.

👔 The NSW business grants program is set to re-open with reduced funding. R&D expert Ben Cusack has written a summary of the changes. Take a read.
