Meet Scott Andrews from The National Centre for Childhood Grief (NCCG), who sat down with The Grants Hub Founder, Jessie Ballantyne to discuss his nomination as a Westfield Local Hero. Scott was successful as the Local Hero for his area, and was awarded a $20,000 grant for NCCG!

Almost entirely community-funded, Scott shares how the Westfield Local Heroes grant and associated profile uplift that comes from being awarded a Local Hero has been instrumental in NCCG raising their profile across Australia and being able to continue the extraordinary work they do.

Nominations for the Westfield Local Heroes 2024 program are now open, and close 7pm Monday 18 March 2024. Think of someone outstanding you can nominate from your local community, to give them the chance to be awarded $5,000 - $20,000 for the organisation they work with.
