Grants to Check Out in June

It’s the last month of the financial year, which means it’s a crazy time for grant writers. So many grants close at the end of June. In fact, we have 113 grants listed at The Grants Hub that are currently open and close by 30 June.

You might want to use some of my survival tips from my article on writing big grant applications to help get you through this extremely busy grants season.

Quick tip: don’t forget to give your CEO the heads up on how many applications they will need to sign off on before they hit their desk. No-one loves a last minute surprise when it comes to sign-offs.

If you’re on the hunt for a June grant, here are five of the top grant programs gaining our members’ interest:

ANZ Community Foundation

The ANZ Community Foundation (previously known as the ANZ Staff Foundation) aims to support projects run by charitable organisations which offer a direct and tangible benefit to local communities.

Focussing on some of Australia’s on-trend funding themes, the Foundation provides grants of up to $30,000 to community projects that relate to one or more of the following areas:

  • Improving financial wellbeing

  • Improving environmental sustainability

  • Improving housing access

  • Other community projects that help communities thrive.

Applications close 30 June 2019.

  • Education

  • Social Inclusion

  • Health & Wellbeing.

There are very few restrictions and no age limit for this program – everyone from children, young adults and older Australians are welcome to apply.

Applications close 16 June 2019.
