COVID-19 Funding

Nearly 18 months since Australia was first exposed to COVID-19, the pandemic continues to dominate our news feed and more generally, our way of life.

As a Victorian living in metro Melbourne, I can’t help but feel a sense of frustration, anxiety and sadness. The hats that I had buried in the back of my wardrobe are sitting firm on my head again, as we manage the mix of remote learning and working, restrictions on our movements and separation from family. Yet, I am extremely grateful to be in a position where I can continue to work from home and my family has good health.

I’m sad for those whose health has been affected, businesses that have closed or been impacted and for the many workers that are unable to do their job and be paid. I’ve also never been more grateful for our frontline health and emergency services and the role they have played to keep us well and safe in such exceptional circumstances.

Whilst in times like this we can all feel a sense of helplessness, what we can continue to do at The Grants Hub is deliver on our mission to find and share funding opportunities that support our community during this trying time.
