Meet Scott Andrews from [The National Centre for Childhood Grief ](https://childhoodgrief.org.au/)(NCCG), who sat down with The Grants Hub Founder, Jessie Ballantyne to discuss his nomination as a Westfield Local Hero. Scott was successful as the Local Hero for his area, and was awarded a $20,000 grant for NCCG!

Tune in below to learn more about this amazing charity working tirelessly to make a real difference in the lives of children following the death of a parent, sibling, or other close loved one.

Almost entirely community-funded, Scott shares how the Westfield Local Heroes grant and associated profile uplift that comes from being awarded a Local Hero has been instrumental in NCCG raising their profile across Australia and being able to continue the extraordinary work they do.

Nominations for the [Westfield Local Heroes 2024](https://www.westfield.com.au/local-heroes) program are now open, and close 7pm Monday 18 March 2024. Think of someone outstanding you can nominate from your local community, to give them the chance to be awarded $5,000 - $20,000 for the organisation they work with.
