Immediate Hardship Assistance
Immediate hardship assistance is available as a contribution to support people directly impacted by a disaster to meet their immediate essential needs for food, clothing, medical supplies or temporary accommodation.
Essential Services Hardship Assistance Grant
Supports people directly impacted by a disaster to meet their immediate needs where they have experienced loss of 1 or more essential services for more than 5 days.
Grants for community recovery projects and activities that offer clear public benefit are available for communities living in areas severely affected by a declared Natural Disaster.
Sport and Recreation Disaster Recovery Program (SRDRP)
Supports not-for-profit sport and recreation organisations with funding to re-establish their facilities and activities after extreme natural events, including flooding and associated damage.
Aurizon Community Giving Fund - Special Round
Assists community groups in the recovery and rebuilding process.
Helps community groups impacted by natural disasters throughout Queensland.
Essential Services Safety and Reconnection Grant
If you’re uninsured, or unable to claim insurance, you may be eligible for a grant to help you reconnect essential services that were damaged by a disaster.
Structural Assistance Grant
If you’re uninsured, or unable to claim insurance, you may be eligible for a one-off payment as a contribution towards repairs to your home to make it secure and safe.
Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements
Producers have access to freight subsidies of up to $5,000 per property to move materials, such as emergency fodder, to assist in recovery.
